Answer:

So, surface area of cylinder is given as S=2πrh+2πr2 Where 2πrh is curved surface area and 2πr2 is area of two circular bases. Hence, the surface area of a solid cylinder of radius 2.0 cm and height 10.0 cm is equal to 15085.71mm2.

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

 =  > csa = 2 \times 3.14 \times 20 \times 100

 =  > csa = 40 \times 314

 =  > csa = 12560 {mm}^{2}

Two surface areas = 2πr². = 2× 3.14 × 400 = 2512mm²

TSA of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

TSA = 12560 + 2512 = 15072 mm²

Hope this answer helps you ^_^ !
