Answer :

125 x³+ y³ = 2067

Given :

5x+Y =13

xy = 10

To find :

The value of 125 x³+ y³

Solution :

125 x³+ y³ = (5x)^3 + (y)^3

We know ,

x^3 + y^3 = (x+y) ( x^2 + y^2 + xy)

Hence ,

= 13 [ 10 + (a + b)^2 + 2ab] {where a+b = 5x+y}

= 13 [ 10 + 169 + 2×10]

= 13 [ 10 + 169 + 20]

= 13 × 159

= 2067

Hence, 125 x³+ y³ = 2067
