$2 \: sin \: 2x = \sqrt{3} \\ \\ sin \: 2x = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2} \\ \\ = > sin \: 2x = sin \: 60 \degree \\ \\ = > 2x = 60 \degree \\ \\ = > cos \: 2x = cos \: 60 \degree = \frac{1}{2}$
