Find the value of discriminant. V2 x² + 4x + 2v2 = 0

comparing this eq with standard form of quadratic equation ax²+bx+c=0

a= √2 , b= 4 , c= 2√2

Discriminant D = b²-4ac

= 4²-4×√2 ×2√2 = 16- 16 =0

hence it have real and equal roots
