Find the value of K if the line represented by the equation 2x-ky=9 passes through the point (-1,-1)

The given equation passes through the given point,
2x-ky=9 
The given equation passes through the point (-1,-1).
⇒ 2(-1) - k(-1) = 9
⇒ -2+k=9
⇒k=9+2
⇒k=11.

y= -1
The equation is  2x - k y = 9 .This equation. passes through  (-1 , -1)
we have to simply put the value in it
2 × (-1) -  k × (-1) = 9
-2  + k  = 9
k = 9+2 = 11
k = 11
