Find the value of k if x=2 is the solution of kx^2+2x-9=0

kx² + 2x - 9 = 0


when x = 2,

k(2)² + 2(2) - 9 = 0

4k + 4 - 9 = 0

4k - 5 = 0

4k = 5

k = 5/4


Answer: k = 5/4
