Hi ,

**************"****

If a , b , c are in A. P then

b - a = c - b

************"************

m + 2 , 4m - 6 , 3m - 2 are A. P

4m - 6 - ( m + 2 ) = 3m - 2 - ( 4m - 6 )

4m - 6 - m - 2 = 3m - 2 - 4m + 6

3m - 8 = - m + 4

3m + m = 4 + 8

4m = 12

m = 12/4

m = 3

I hope this helps you.

We know in that in an AP, a2 - a1 = a3-a2.
(4m-6) - (m+2) = (3m-2) - (4m-6)
or, 4m -6 - m-2 = 3m-2-4m+6
or, 3m-8 = 4 - m
or, 4m = 12
or, m = 12/4 = 3.
answer is M = 3
& AP is 5, 6, 7.....
