one root of Px² -14x +8 =0 is 6 times of another root ∅ , so,
sum of roots = ∅ +6∅ = 14/P
7 ∅ = 14/P
∅= 2/P -----(1)
products of roots = 6∅² = 8/P
put equation (1)
6(2/P )² = 8/P
24/P² = 8/P
3/P² =1/P
P = 3
sum of roots = ∅ +6∅ = 14/P
7 ∅ = 14/P
∅= 2/P -----(1)
products of roots = 6∅² = 8/P
put equation (1)
6(2/P )² = 8/P
24/P² = 8/P
3/P² =1/P
P = 3
