Mean = 7.5

fi - 6 | 8 | 15 | p| 8 | 4 |
fixi- 18 | 40 | 105 | 9p | 88 | 52|

Σfi = 41+p
Σfixi = 303+9p

Mean = Σfixi / Σfi

7.5 = (303+9p) / (41 +p)
7.5(41 +p) = 303 +9p
307.5 +7.5 p = 303 +9p
307.5 -  303 = 9p - 7.5 p
4.5 = 1.5 p
p = 4.5 / 1.5 = 3

P = 3

Hence, the value of p is 3.
