Answer:

Surface Area of sphere = 154 cm^2

154 =4πr^2

154×7/4×22 = r^2

you solve this you get.

7/2 = r (radius)

Then..

Volume of sphere = 4/3πr^3

=4/3×22/7×7/2×7/2×7/2

=2/3×11×7×7/2

= 2/3×539/2

= 539/3...cm^3

Hence the Volume of sphere is 539/3 cm^3...

Correct Question :-

  • find the volume of sphere whose surface area is 154 cm².

Given :-

  • Surface area of sphere = 154 cm²

To Find :-

  • Volume of sphere = ?

Solution :-

Let radius of sphere be 'r' cm.

According to Question :-

➝ Surface area of sphere = 4πr²

➝ 154 = 4πr²

➝ 154 = 4 × 22/7 × r²

➝ 154 = 88/7 × r²

➝ 154 × 7/88 = r²

➝ 12.25 = r²

➝ r² = 12.25

➝ r = √12.25

r = 3.5 cm

Therefore, the radius of sphere is 3.5 cm.

Now, let's calculate the volume of sphere :

➻ Volume of Sphere = ⁴/₃ πr³

➻ Volume of Sphere = ⁴/₃ × ²²/₇ × (3.5)³

➻ Volume of Sphere = ⁴/₃ × ²²/₇ × 42.875

➻ Volume of Sphere = ⁸⁸/₂₁ × 42.875

➻ Volume of Sphere = 3773 ÷ 21

➻ Volume of Sphere = 179.67 cm³

Therefore, the volume of sphere is 179.67 cm³.
