3y - 1 = 0

3y=0+1

y=1/3,,,,,,

X+2y=4

X+y=4/2

X+y=2

X-3Y-1=0

X-3Y. =1........eq 1

X+2Y. = 4..........eq 2

equation 1 - equation 2

-5Y = -3

Y. = 3/5. answer

putting the value of y in equation 1

X -3(3/5) =1

X - 9/5. = 1

X. = 1+9/5

= 14/5 answer
