5x-3. 32x-8 = 225
= 3 × 75
= 3 × 3 × 25
= 3 × 3 × 5 × 5
∴ 5x-3. 32x-8 = 52 × 32
Comparing both the sides we get
x − 3 = 2
⇒ x = 5 (You can compare even the other one also. The result will be same)
= 3 × 75
= 3 × 3 × 25
= 3 × 3 × 5 × 5
∴ 5x-3. 32x-8 = 52 × 32
