39is ur ans x=39,then the terms will be in continued proportion

Given that 24,x,54 are in continued proportion, 24,x,x,54 are in proportion.

We know that product of extremes = product of means.

                        24 * 54 = x * x

                         1296 = x^2

                          x = 36.
