➡ We know that when three numbers are in G.P they have common ratio

(X + 3) ÷ X = ( X + 9 ) ÷ ( X + 3 )

on \: cross \: multiplying

(x + 3) {}^{2} = (x + 9)(x )

 {x}^{2} + 9 + 6x = {x}^{2} + 9x

9x - 6x = 9

x = 9 \div 3

x = 3
