We know that,

Sum of angle on a straight line is 180°.

Thus, x-10+x+40 = 180

2x+30= 180

2x= 150

x = 75°

Vertically opposite angles are equal.

y= x-10°

y= 75 -10

y= 65°

z= x+40

z= 75+40

z= 115 °
