IN a rt. Δ ABC rt. angled B

Here, AC = a

so, AB = a/2 (since Δ ABC is half of equilateralΔ)

now,

BC=√(AC²-AB²) (PYTHAGOROUS THEORAM)

BC=√(a²-(a/2)²

BC = √3a/2

now,

cos∅= AB/AC

       = 1a/2/a

       = 1/2

AGAIN,

sin²∅ +  cos²∅ =1

sin²60 + (1/2)²=1

so,sin60°=√3/2

therefore ,

cosec60°=2/√3
