As we know that,
cos (π/3) =1/2
sin (π/ 6) = 1/2
Here, the principal value branch of cos⁻¹(x) and sin⁻¹(x) are [0,π] and [ -π/2, π/2] respectively.
cos inverse cos (π/ 3) + 2 sin inverse sin (π/6)
= π/ 3 + 2 × π/6
= π/3 + π/3
= 2π/3
Hence, We know inverse trigonometric functions cancels the trigonometric functions if the angle lie between it's principal value branch.
