In Δ PQR and Δ PSR,

∠ QPR = ∠ SPR ----- [given]

PQ = PS ----- [PS = PQ = 3 cm]

PR = PR ----- [common side]

∴ Δ PQR ≅ Δ PSR

⇒ QR = SR ----- [cpct]

∴ y = SR = 4 cm

Now, in Δ PSR, by angle sum property of a triangle,

∠ SPR + ∠ PRS + ∠ RSP = 180°

45° + 35° + ∠ RSP = 180°

∠ RSP = 100°

Now, as proved above Δ PQR ≅ Δ PSR

⇒ ∠ RSP = ∠ RQP = 100° ----- [cpct]

∴ x = ∠ RQP = 100°
