given r= 3.5 cm

Volume of a sphere  = 4/3 (pi x r^3)
                                 =  4/3 x 22/7 x 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5
                                 =  88/21 x 42.875
                                 =  3773/21  or 179.67 cm^3

Surface area of a sphere =  4 x pi x r^2
                                        =  4 x 22/7 x 3.5 x 3.5
                                        = 88/7 x 12.25
                                        = 1078/7
                                        =  154 cm^2
