Step-by-step explanation:

1)                          2x²-9x-45

                          ac = -45 * 2

                          ac = -90.

             SPLITTING THE MIDDLE TERM

                        2x²-9x -45  =  2x² - 15x + 6x -45 = 0

x(2x - 15) + 3(2x - 15)

2x-15 = 0                 ;             x+3=0

2x= 15                      ;             x= -3

x=15/2

(2)4√3 x² +5x -2√3 =0

⇒4√3 x² +8x -3x -2√3=0

⇒4x(√3 x+2) -√3(√3x +2) =0

⇒(√3x +2)(4x -√3) =0

⇒(√3x +2) =0 or (4x-√3) =0

⇒x = -2/√3 or √3/4
