(x - 2) ^{2}  - 4  = 0 \\   {x}^{2}  + 4 - 4x - 4 = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  - 4x = 0 \\ x(x - 4) = 0 \\ x = 0 \:  \:or \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x - 4 = 0 \:  \:  \:   => x = 4

Answer:

(x-2)^2=x^2+4-4x

=x^2+4-4x-4

=x^2-4x

roots of the equation is -b + or -b ^2-4ac/2a

a=1,b=(-4),c=0

4 + or- 16-0/2(1)

4 + or -4/2

=4+4/2(or)4-4/2

=4 (or)0

the roots of the equation are 4,0
