x^2 + 7x +12     ⇒   (x+3)(x+4) = 0

     |_ eq ii                    x = -4,-3    ⇒ α = -3;β=-4

comparing eq (i) & (ii)

αβ = c/a

⇒ 12 = 12/1

α+β = -b/a

⇒ -7 = -7/1
