Heya

Given\:polynomial:5x^2-4-8x

As\:we\:know,
the\:standard:form \:of\:a\:quadratic \:polynomial\:is\:as\:follows:
ax^2+bx+c

 5x^2-4-8x=0
 5x^2-8x-4=0
5x^2-10x+2x-4=0
5x(x-2)+2(x-2)=0
(5x+2)(x-2)=0
(5x+2)=0\:or\:(x-2)=0

x=\frac{-2}{5}\:or\:x=2

Hence, the zeroes of given polynomial are \frac{-2}{5} and 2.
