Let one number be x
x+x+1 = 15
2x + 1 = 15
2x = 15-1
x = 14/2 = 7
x+1 = 7+1 = 8
x + 2 = 7+ 2 = 9

∴ the numbers are 7, 8 and 9.

I take the three consecutive natural numbers as X,X+1,X+2
X+X+1=X+2+15
2x+1=X+17
2x-x=17-1
X=16.
