To make the solution easier,

Let three consecutive numbers be ,

(x-1) , x, (x+1),

Now according to the question,

Their sum = 36,

=> x-1 + x + x+1 = 36,
=> 3x = 36,
=> x = 12 ( middle of three numbers ),

Now first number is x - 1 = 12-1 = 11,

Third number is x +1 = 12+1 = 13,

Therefore the three numbers are,

11, 12, 13,

Hope you understand,

Have a great day !!

let the smaller number be x

so other two are x+1, x+2

by the given condition

x+x+1+x+2=36

3x+3=36

3x=33

x=11

x+1=11+1=12

x+2=11+2=13

so the number are 11, 12&13
