2x-1=0

x=1/2

6xsquare+kx-2=0

6(1/4)+k(1/2)-2=0

(3/2)+(k/2)-(4/2)=0

3+k-4=0

k=1

Answer:

k= -3

Step-by-step explanation:

p(1/2) = 6 × (1/2)² + k ×(1/2) -2

= 3 -k =0

3=k

there for k = 3
