given (√2,3√2)
given equation is x-3y = 9
by substituting given point in the equation we get
 LHS = √2-3(3√2) 
          =  √2(1-9) 
          =   -8√2 ≠9 which is RHS 
hence (√2,3√2) is not the solution of x-3y = 9
