you can write x^-3/4 as 1/(x³)^1/4

1/(x³)1/4 = 1/2³                  (Given).................................eq1

by comparing we get

x^1/4 = 2

Now quadrupling both sides we get

quadrupling is taking power 4 on both sides like we do at the time of squaring both sides

x = 2^4

x = 16

You can also verify this by putting the value of x=16 in first equation and both RHS = LHS

poojamurugesan: thank you so much
