y=x^2-2x+1

 =x^2-x-x+1

 =x(x-1)-1(x-1)

 =(x-1)(x-1)

alpha=1 , beta=1

alpha + beta = -b/a = -1-1= -2/1 = -b/a

alpha*beta = c/a = -1*-1 = 1/1 = c/a

Answer:

factorising by splitting the middle term

x {}^{2}  - 2x + 1 \\ x {}^{2}  - x  - x+ 1 \\ x(x - 1) - 1( x  - 1) \\

from above we conclude that zeroes are 1, 1

sum 1+1=2. .......1

product 1×1=1. ....2

here a=1,b=-2 and c=1

we know that to verify relation we use -b/a as a sum-(-2)/1

=2 and it is matched with equation 1

and product =c/a

1/1=1and it is matched with equation 2

so relation is verified....

.......hope it will be helpful
