WE SHOULD CALCULATE THE ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY ON THE EARTH.THE MASS OF THE EARTH IS 5.979×10^24 KG. ...WE END UP WITH 9.8m/s^.....
v^-u^=2 as when v=0 a=-g s=h-u^=2 (-g)h u^=2gh h=u^/2g
HOPE THIS HELPS U. . . @MP. .

v²-u²=2as
when v = 0 , a = -g, s = h
-u²=2(-g)h
u²=2gh
h=u²/2g
when v = 0 , a = -g, s = h
-u²=2(-g)h
u²=2gh
h=u²/2g
