ABCD is the parallelogram. AC is the daigonal which divides the parallelogram into 2 equal parts.

so in triangle ADC, AC if base = 8 cm and height is 3 cm.
so it's area is = 1/2base * height
=1/2*8*3
=12cm sq.
area of parallelogram= 12 ×2 = 24 cm sq.

base= 8 cm [given]
height-
area=1/2 bh
→12= 1/2×5×h
→h=24×2/5
→h= 9.6 cm

hope u get the answer

Anchaljain06: Here it is written first find base and height.
sarthaksharma2005coc: Thank You
sarthaksharma2005coc: Answer is Correct, but we had to find height of parallelogram and not of Triangle. But, no Problem Rest I can Solve myself

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Base Is already given

Height is already given

Area of triangle ADC=1/2*3*8=12

PC is diagonal and diagonal divide the program into two Triangles of equal area

area ll ABCD=2*ar∆ADC

=2*12

=24
