Newton's laws of motion:

  1. The object remains to be at rest or in uniform motion unless an external unbalanced force acts upon it.
  2. The rate of change of momentum is proportional to the force applied. The momentum is towards the direction of applied force.
  3. Every action has equal and opposite reaction acting simultaneously.

▶ Sir Newton gives three laws of motion.

  1. An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
  2. The force acting on an object is equal to the mass of that object times its acceleration.
  3. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
