if India had won the war of independence of 1857 then India would have been like :
* it would have been more rich as as the Britishers took many important resources from India that time.
* they would have been more opportunities for job as well as for career orientation.
* India would have been has less corruption than today or it could have been even more.

According to me, the fact that India gained independence in 1947, is the best that could have happened to us.
That is because the economic system of India was greatly influenced by the 1935 Indian Government Act as RBI was introduced then. Also it gave a federal system to the government. Britishers also introduced education policies after 1857 which proved to be helpful.
If we had gained independence in 1857, our education and economic status would have been low.
