Let the age of nuri be x
Let the age of sonu be y
Five years ago:
Nuri's age = X-5
Sonu's age = Y-5
so,by condition
== (X-5) = 3(Y-5)
== X=3Y-15 + 5
== X= 3Y- 10 ...(1)
Ten years after:
Nuri's age = X+10
Sonu's age = Y+10
(X+10) = 2(Y+10)
X= 2Y+ 20 -10
X = 2Y+10
From eqution(i) X= 3Y- 10
3Y- 10 = 2Y+10
3Y- 2Y = 20
Y = 20
putting value of y in (equation 1)
→ X= 3(20)- 10
→ X= 50....
so sonu age is 20 years and nuris age is 50 years

Five years ago,nuri was thrice as old as sonu.Ten years later,nuri will be twic old as sonu . How old are nuri and sonu?
According to the question we know that Five years ago Nuri was thrice as old as sonu.Ten years later,Nuri will be twice as old as Sonu
Now,
Let the age of nuri is x years old
and the age of sonu is y years
we know that five years ago Nuri was thrice as old as sonu
So,
five years ago the age of Nuri = x - 5 years
and five years ago the age of Sonu = y - 5 years
then,
according to the question -
Age of nuri = 3* age of sonu
Now putting the above values
=> x - 5 = 3 × ( y - 5)
=> x - 5 = 3y - 15
=> x - 3y = -10 .............................(1)
Now,
After ten years the age of Nuri = x + 10 years
And, after ten years the age of Sonu = y + 10 years
according to the question
The age of Nuri = 2* The age of sonu
now, putting the above values
=> x + 10 = 2×(y + 10)
=> x + 10 = 2y + 20
=> x - 2y = 10...........................(2)
Now, subtracting the equation 2 from equation 1 we get,
x - 3y = -10
x - 2y = 10
----------------------
- y = -20
y = 20
now, we put it value of y in given equation 1
=> x - 3 (20) = -10
=> x - 60 =- 10
=> x = 50
Hence, the age of Nuri is 50 years
and the age of sonu = 20 years
