Hii friend,
Let the age of Amit and Arman be X and Y year's.
Five years ago age of Amit = (X-5) years.
Five years ago age of Arman = (Y-5) years.
According to question,
(X-5) = 3(Y-5)
X-5 = 3Y -15
X-3Y = -15+5
X-3Y = -10......(1)
again,
Ten years later age of Amit = (X+10)
Ten years later age of Arman = (Y+10) years.
According to question,
X+10 = 2(Y+10)
X+10 = 2Y+20
X-2Y = 20-10
X-2Y = 10.....(2)
From equation (1) we get,
X-3Y = -10
X = -10+3Y......(3)
Putting the value of X in equation (2)
X-2Y = 10
(-10+3Y) -2Y = 10
Y -10 = 10
Y = 10+10
Y = 20 years.
Putting the value of Y in equation (3)
X = -10+3Y
X = -10+3 × 20 = -10+60 =50
Therefore,
Age of Amit = X = 50 years
And,
Age of Arman = Y = 20 years.
