f= -3m
u = -5m
1/f =1/v +1 /u
1/v= 1/f -1/u
1/v = 1/-3 +1/5 (because the object distance and the formula sign both r negetive we take it as positive)
1/v = 5+3/15
1/v= 8/15
v=-15/8
v=1.875 m
