the policeman is going 100m behind the thief.

ATQ the policeman increases its speed by 10m/minute

so for reaching 100m ahead (to catch the theif) the policeman needs to increase his speed 10 times ( 100m = 10m × 10 )

so if 10m is increased per minute than 10 times will be increased in 10 minutes

so the answer is 10 minutes
