battle of plassey is between sirajuddulah and East India company. battle of buxar is between Mir quasim and East India company.

As I know 3 difference between them that is-
1)Battle of plassey fought in 1757 and Battle of Buxar fought in 1764.So,ther's a difference between years.
2)Fought by different rulers.A s battle of plassey was fought by Sirajuddaulah and East India company and Buxar was fought between Mir Quasim and East India company.
3)Battle of Plassey foght in W.B,And Buxar was fought in Bihar,so there is also a difference between places.
