Answer:

The area is

24

c

m

2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let  a

and

b

be the sides of the rectangle.

The width

a

is

4

c

m

,

If perimeter is

20

c

m

then we can write

2

a

+

2

b

=

20

a

+

b

=

10

4

+

b

=

10

b

=

6

Now we can calculate the area:

A

=

a

b

=

4

6

=

24

Answer:

Given : In a rectangle

Perimeter- 20 cm

lenght- 3x

widht- x

we know that perimeter of rectangle- 2(L+B)

2(L+B)=20 cm

2(3x+x)= 20

4x= 20/2

4x= 10

x= 2.5cm

so, widht = 2.5 m

length = 3x

=> 3(2.5)

=> 7.5 cm
