Mathematically,

Efficiency, η=(1   −T  2   )/T  1

Subsituting value of η=0.2,

we get 0.8T  

1  =T2  

Now subsituting value of η=0.4 and sink temperature as T  

2  −60,we get 0.6T  

1   +60=T  2

Solving both we get T  

1  =300K and T  

2 =240K
