Radius of K+ = 138 pm
Radius of Br- = 196 pm
( According to data given in NCERT )
Radius ratio = 138/196 = 0.704 .
// Refer Table given in attachment .
The radius ratio lies between 0.414 - 0.732 ;
=> The crystal has NaCl type structure .
=> Crystal has 6:6 coordination number .
//For structure refer attachment .
