We know that in an A.P.

 t_{2} -  t_{1} =  t_{3} -  t_{2}

so,

2k-1-(k+9)=2k+7-(2k-1)

2k-1-k-9=2k+7-2k+1

k-10=8

k=10+8

k=18

Verification:

{2(18)-1}-{18+9}={2(18)+7}-{2(18)-1}

35-27=43-35

8=8

Therefore k=18

Hope it helps you
