Fora cel, the terminal potential ofference is 22V when circuit is open and reduces
to 18 V, when cel is connected to a resistance R-50. The internal resistance (0)
of cell is
(1090 ( 9/10
(-) 1190 (W) 5/90

Answer:

let internal resistance be r

then R equivalent = (50 + r)ohm

V = V1 + V2

22 = 18 + V2

V2 = 4 i.e. the voltage taken by internal resistance

18 = I. 50

I = 9/25 current remains same in series

4 = I. r

4 = 9/25 .r

r = 100/9ohm
