THE MAIN REASON WHICH CAUSES FOREST FIRES IS THE CONTINUOUS INCREASE IN TEMPERATURE DUE TO THE RISE IN THE LEVEL OF CARBON
DIOXIDE IN THE AIR.THE LEAVES OF TREES IN FOREST LOOSE MOISTURE DUE TO TRANSPIRATION AND SOMETIMES DURING EXTREME HOT WEATHER, THE LEAVES REACH THEIR IGNITION TEMPERATURE AND START BURNING LEADING TO FOREST FIRES.

At high temperature, sometimes dry grass catches fire which spreads throughout the forest.

Campfire may also be a reason.

Human negligence can also cause forest fires. A lighted cigarette left in the forest can also ignite a forest fire.
