Given:

(i) The numbers are

(a) 1,0,8,7

(b) 2,3,4,9

(c) 0,9,5,1

To find:

(i) Forming a number using the 4 digits.

Solution:

For the first case,

The digits are 1,0,8 and 7.

We form a number in the same way in which they are given.

So, the number formed is

1,087     [One thousand and eighty seven]

For second case,

The numbers are 2,3,4,9

So, we again do the same as above. The number formed will be:

2,349    [Two thousand and three hundred forty nine]

For the third case, we form a number in such a way that the zero is in the middle.

9051.    [Nine thousand and fifty one]

So, the numbers formed are 1087, 2349 and 9051.
