Length of sides be A, B and C.
Find the semi-perimeter S = (A+B+C)/2
Then the area of the triangle by Heron's formula is
Areaa = (S × (S-A) × (S-B) × (S-C) )^0.5

Formula for a triangle for area if the sides are given

It is calculated by the Herons Formula.
This Formula is named after the Hero of Alexandria.

Let the sides of a ∆ be a, b, c

First We have to find the semi perimeter of the ∆ (s)= (a+b+c)/2

then we find the area of a ∆. The Formula is

AREA OF ∆ = √ s(s-a) (s-b)(s-c)
