if a line is divided internally in m:n by a point then the coordinate of point is given by-

x=mx2-nx1/m+n ,y=my2-ny1/m+n

its coordinate can be found by this formula

HELLO DEAR,

If there are two points P(x1,y1) and Q(x2,y2),, and the line segment PQis divided internally by point R(x,y) in the ratio m:n,then, the coordinates of R(x,y) are as under:

x =  \frac{mx _{2} +  n x_{1}}{m + n}  \\  =  > y =  \frac{m y_{2} + n y_{1} }{m + n}
I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
