Frenkel Defect is not found in NaCl. Why?

Frenkel defect is not found in NaCl becoz the size of Na+ ion is quite small as compared to that of Cl- ion.alkali metal do not show Frenkel defect becoz cation being larger size does not fit in the intersitial space.
