freshly cut cut apples turning Brown the iron articles shiny when New but gradually become reddish brown when left for some time how do this change occurred what precautions to be taken to avoid it ​

freshly cut apple becomes reddish because it reacts with the oxygen present in the air and the iron articles also become reddish because they react with oxygen and moisture in the air and this process is called rusting and to prevent this we should paint iron articles and cover the apple
