From a circular sheet of radius 14cm ,two circles of radius 3.5cm and two squares of side 3cm are removed from the circle .find the area of remaining sheet

We have given radius of bigger circular sheet = 14cm,  

smaller circular sheet = 3.5 cm  

and length and breadth of rectangle is 3cm and 1 cm respectively.

Area of rectangle = length ×breadth

= 3 × 1  

= 3cm2  

Area of remaining sheet  

= Area of bigger circle – Area of both smaller circle – Area of rectangle

= 616 – 77 – 3  

= 616 – 80 = 536 cm2  

Hence area of remainimg sheet is 536 cm2
